Takacat RIB

Introducing our Predator series catamaran RIB's.

Our Takacat RIBs reflect our ethos of efficient and stable hull design and are unique to the market in that they are a catamaran hull offering superior stability, a soft ride and efficiency that Takacat customers have come to expect.

Handling is impressive and the ride will delight!  Massive internal beams compared with monohulled designs offers the users an awesome amount of deck space increasing your comfort and ability to stow gear!

The shallow draft of the Hulls means you can get in right close to the shore and even sit nicely in a sandy bay!

Manufactured with a GRP Hull and Hypalon tubes the Explorer and Predators are built to handle tough conditions. The Predator series are designed and manufactured in South Africa.  A key design feature fo the Predator series is the patented stepped-tunnel design catamaran incorporating thirty years of catamaran design tech.

PREDATOR

The Predator Series

At low speeds, the tunnel creates an air-cushion effect enabling the craft to rise quickly out of the water and to plane with ease. The twin hull construction increases stability and creates a more comfortable ride in choppy conditions.  A fast, stable and reliable craft, the "PREDATOR" is an ideal platform for applications such as:

  • Fishing

  • Tenders

  • Diving

  • Water Taxi

  • Resort Boats

  • Supply Boats

  • Work Boats

  • Marina Craft

Or any application requiring exceptional stability and maneuverability.

Six sizes are available in the Predator Series from 5.1m through to 7.5m.

Customised Deck layouts are available to configure the deck to your requirement's.
